Javier Reyes, Co-Chair of the DCBA’s Civil Litigation Committee, and Armando Rosquete coordinated a joint CLE with the DCBA’s Appellate Litigation Committee focused on trial errors in closing arguments. Judge Thomas Rebull handled the mock arguments at the trial court level while a panel of judges from the Third District Court of Appeal handled the mock appellate arguments.
Mr. Reyes has extensive experience handling a wide range of complex commercial cases and is particularly well-versed in the business issues impacting litigation given his prior experience as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Rosquete clerked on the Florida Supreme Court and has handled appeals in both the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and in Florida’s District Courts of Appeal.
