Mr. Rosquete presented on the topic of International Cooperation in Cross-Border Criminal Cases at the Florida Bar’s 12th International Litigation and Arbitration Conference. Mr. Rosquete’s presentation discussed how federal prosecutors obtain evidence in foreign jurisdictions during the course of their investigations and how they handle similar requests when made by other countries. As a former federal prosecutor, Mr. Rosquete handled various international investigations and also handled requests from other countries seeking evidence located in the United States. Mr. Rosquete also has extensive experience in proceedings brought under 28 U.S.C. §1782 (“Assistance to foreign and international tribunals and to litigants before such tribunals”).
