Mr. Bell represented the top aide for former congressman, Joe Garcia, in relation to a scheme aimed at illegally financing the campaign of a ringer tea party candidate whose role in the 2010 congressional election was designed to help Joe Garcia’s Democratic bid against Republican David Rivera. Mr. Bell’s client avoided felony charges and was sentenced to probation on a misdemeanor offense.
